The Longest Day Just Got Shorter with a PDF to Excel Converter

Today is going to be the longest day of the year. If you spend all day inputting data into Excel, every day probably feels like the longest. A PDF to Excel converter can make that process easier and you can start enjoying summer.

OK, today isn’t really any longer than any other day, but it is the longest period of daylight. People all over the world celebrate the summer solstice in various ways. If you were in England, you could have gone to Stonehenge, just like the Druids. Or, you can just have a summer solstice party with your friends, family and neighbors.

The days are going to get shorter from here on out, but we will be enjoying those warm summer evenings sitting on the deck, playing baseball with the kids or just doing those relaxing summertime things that we look forward to during the winter months.

Most of us will be taking a summer vacation. It’s difficult for some of us to get away from our jobs, especially if we own a business. You can use a spreadsheet for more than work. Use it to plan that summer holiday, make a shopping list for those weekend barbecues and pool parties, or that weekend road trip.

The first day of summer is a reminder to take a break from work, or at least make it easier on yourself. That is why you need to find ways to be more efficient. The last thing you want to do on a lovely summer evening or weekend is spend it pouring over spreadsheets.

Another celestial event will occur this Sunday. Make sure to go outside to see the supermoon, or perigee full moon. This is when the moon is nearest to the earth, so it will appear larger and brighter.

Sometimes we need to get away from our computers and gaze at the stars, or the moon, or appreciate nature. If your processes at work are tying you to your desk, you may not get the chance to enjoy these special times. If you were using a PDF to Excel converter to improve processes and get your spreadsheets done faster, maybe you wouldn’t have to work today and you could celebrate the solstice.

Astronomy is a fascinating hobby. You don’t have to be a professional astronomer to stargaze. Excel is a great tool for documenting your observations. By studying celestial bodies with your children you can teach them about physics, math and chemistry. For example, the moon affects the tides. You can point this out to your children and even show them how to simulate that phenomena in an aquarium.

Maybe your child will grow up to become an astronomer or astrophysicist, or an aerospace engineer or astronaut. They’ll probably be using Excel in those studies, so why not teach them now?
